Altadena's Third Library: The Hidden Branch

It may not have all the usual amenities, still, the Meadows Public Library is pretty darned special.

The Meadows Public Library may not offer much in the way of books, DVD's, air conditioning, computers, or even chairs.

The collection doesn't seem to pay much attention to the Dewey Decimal System, and good luck finding a reference librarian on duty.

This library is, after all, just a little bungalow, perched on a pole, run by volunteers, presumably. But definitely worth the visit. The structure is a supurb example of craftsman architecture and Altadena ingenuity.
