Paco the Heroic Chihuahua to Get Online Show

The show will feature heroic animals across the country and will be shown online. The hope is that there might end up being some sort of eventual network interest in picking up the show.

Brave Paco, the heroic chihuahua who out of in July, is no stranger to the camera: following the release of the viral video that showed his feats to people across the country, he had dozens of appearances on news programs, talk shows, and radio programs.

Now, Erik Knight, the owner at Ace's, one of the shops that Paco is known to hang out at, is preparing to launch a YouTube broadcast called Paco's Heroic Animals.

Knight wrote in an email to Altadena Patch that he's spoken with network producers, and they've had some interest in a show, but want to see some sort of pilot episode before making any serious consideration.  Starting the show on YouTube could give him that chance.  He expects the first episode to be up by mid-December.

He describes the show idea:

The show is primarily about animal heroics and the distance they will go to protect their families and friends.  The show will also include a segment where Paco and I, along with an animal professional, will visit various animal shelters and rescue foundations across the country, raising awareness of the importance of rescuing animals.
