Today in Altadena: Story Time at Altadena Library and a Stranded Hiker Rescued

1. There is an Infant and Toddler Story Time at 11 a.m. at the Altadena Library, Main Library Community Room. Open to children under three years old.

2. The weather is cooling down since last weekend’s heat wave. The day’s high in Altadena is expected to be 87 degrees, with an overnight low of 64 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

3. A 25-year-old hiker found himself stranded on a steep cliff in Eaton Canyon Wednesday. Luckily, rescue teams were able to locate him and bring him back down to safety. Read the story here.
