Pasadena is slated to become a “model city” in a State Farm-funded campaign to Cause an Effect---getting elementary school children buckled up safely-- IF Facebook members vote early and often for the SafetyBeltSafe U.S.A. program to teach the 5-Step Test for safety belt fit to kids and adults. This important information will show that most kids need boosters until age 10-12, booster seats that will reduce injury by 45%, injuries that can make lifelong changes in their health.

to vault the national non-profit organization into the TOP FORTY of the 100 projects in competition. The funds will focus on the diverse Pasadena community while allowing the group to reach out to other San Gabriel Valley communities to become model cities of elementary school student protection. After the voting ends on May 17, State Farm will announce the winners on May 22.
