Angeles Crest 100 - Sat-Sun

People are flying in from across the country and around the world to meet in Altadena this weekend.

Once again, Altadena is host to the finish of the 26 annual Angeles Crest 100 endurance run. The foot race starts at 5am Saturday morning in Wrightwood and traverses the San Gabriel Mountains for a total distance of 100.5 miles and over 21,000' of climbing.

Look for the winner to arrive in Loma Alta Park sometime after 10pm (before 10:30 will break Arcadia's Jim O'brien's 1989 record). A majority of the finishers will start arriving early Sunday morning up until the 2:00pm, 33 hour, cut-off.

Awards ceremony and party will be afterwards from 2-3:00pm.

Come down and welcome these tired women and men to Altadena!
