4th Annual Limerick Fest Coming To Altadena

Nail Soup Productions and the Altadena Ale House will host the 4th Annual Los Angeles Limerick Festival Tuesday, Nov. 12, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The event, organized by Jan Michael Alejandro, Nail Soup Productions and the Altadena Ale House will bring a night "almost clean fun," when patrons of the Ale House, which including employees from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and National Public Radio, write material and recite it on stage.

The Nov. 12 event will be hosted by 100.3 FM radio host Mimi Chen. Leslie Spring will also perform.

Patrons can bring their favorite limerick for an open reading at 6:45 p.m.

Proceeds for this year's event will go to  "A Case for the Cure," which benefits The City of Hope in Duarte.

The event will also be recorded and will later be available on youtube.
