5 Things You Need to Know: Coffee Gallery Fundraiser, Fake Drunk Driver Crash

1) The Coffee Gallery which is trying to to keep its Front Stage performance space will hold a fundraiser that is open to the public from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on April 28 at the Altadena Community Church.  The event will involve musical guests and chili tasting.  Also, the store's owners posted this "Thank You" message for attendees of last weekends comic roast fundraiser at the shop.

2) The Pasadena Police Department plans to educate John Muir High School students with a fake fatal drunk driving collision that will involve student actors first participating in the crash, then mourning their fellow crash victims who "died" in the wreck.  The "crash" will take place on April 21.
