There have also been concerns about Altadena being fairly represented in the process- County Supervisor Michael Antonvich is responsible for appointing two members, Sierra Madre gets one, Pasadena gets three, and the Pasadena Unified board gets to nominate three.  Altadena residents concerned over the town's representation might want to consider applying to be one of the representatives that the board would appoint.  The application is attached to this story in the photo gallery section.

3) The Altadena Historical Society is offering photographs of historical 'Alta' and 'Dena' brand orange crate labels (which can be viewed in the photo section at right) as part of its fundraiser to support its historical archives and events.  For a donation of $20 (plus shipping and handling) supporters will get a high resolution photo of each label in the mail.
