Altadena Family’s Home Sold, But It Wasn’t For Sale

ABC-7 reports a family faithfully paid their mortgage on time, but their home was sold without them knowing.

An Altadena family faced eviction when their home, for which they always paid their mortgage on time, was suddenly sold without them knowing.

Ceith and Louise Sinclair got a loan modification with Ocwen Financial Corporation for the home they purchased in 2003, but they received a call and a letter stating that Ocwen sold their loan to Nationstar Mortgage, Eyewitness News reports.

In June, a representative knocked on their door to tell them their house had been sold and they had two weeks to vacate the house.
