Altadena Farmers Market Manager Launches New Cookbook

Joseph Shuldiner, market manager, cookbook author, and director of the Institute of Domestic Technology, will hold a book signing for "Pure Vegan" in Los Angeles.

Joseph Shuldiner will be signing his new cookbook, Pure Vegan: 70 Recipes for Beautiful Meals and Clean Living, at Lindy and Grundy, 801 North Fairfax, Los Angeles, on August 19th, from 6 to 8 pm.

According to Shuldiner, "The title of the book is Pure Vegan, not Puritanical Vegan." It’s a cookbook where the emphasis is on good food, rather than the politics of a vegan lifestyle, and even includes cocktail recipes. “Vodka is vegan, after all,” he says.

The event is open to the public, but an RSVP is requested: rsvp@purevegancookbook.com.
