Altadena Farmers' Market Starts Summer Hours, Celebrates 1 Year Wednesday

As summer approaches, the Altadena Farmers’ Market is unveiling its summer hours and also celebrating its one-year anniversary on Wednesday, May 15.

The market will start an hour later and end an hour later, taking place from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesdays from May 15 to Sept. 30 at Loma Alta Park (600 W. Palm Street).

In honor of the market’s one-year birthday they will hold a picnic in the park Wednesday so bring a picnic blanket or loan one at the information booth. If you have any extra blankets, you can also bring those and drop them off at the information booth to be loaned out for the evening.

As an added summer bonus, beginning in June live entertainment will take place on the new Great Lawn Stage from 5-7 p.m.
