Altadena Library's Winter Reading Begins Dec. 16

The Altadena Library kicks off its Winter Reading Program with prizes awarded to a select few.

The program starts Monday, Dec. 16 and lasts until January 31, 2014.

The program is open to all children and teenagers. Participants can read any book of their choosing in fiction, or non-fiction.

Five prizes will be awarded during the program. In order for a participant to win an award, they must draw, or write a book review.

Children and teenagers can sign up starting Dec. 16 at the youth services desk at the Altadena Main Library, 600 East Mariposa Street, of at the Bob Lucas Branch, 2659 Lincoln Avenue.
