Altadena Residents Offered Free Admission To LACMA

LACMA's Altadena Art+Film Lab spent five weeks in town last year at Charles White Park and to celebrate, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art will offer free admission to Altadena residents, officials said.

Free general admission will be offered Sunday, Jan. 19 between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. From 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., family friendly art activities will be offered and attendees can explore the galleries through tours.

The Altadena Film+Lab was the third installment in LACMA's film lab project.

The film lab, which ran from Sept. 13 to Oct. 1, 2013, offered residents the chance to learn about the filmmaking process.
