Altadena's Farmer's Market Offers Plethora of Fresh Foods

Market also sporting new winter hours.

The Altadena Farmer's Market is set for another Wednesday full of locally-grown, fresh foods.

The Farmer's Market boasts 30 booths featuring fresh fruits and vegetables from local farmers and food vendors, including pre-packaged food.

Officials emphasize a commitment to suburban backyard farmers, small family farms and sellers from Altadena.

The Market is committed to lessening its environmental impact and will begin implementing a multi-tiered plan to eventually achieve zero waste.

The Market has also changed its hours, now open from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Market is open every Wednesday, rain or shine, at Loma Alta Park, 600 West Palm Street.
