Earth Day 2013: What to do Locally

Earth Day is April 22 but different Earth Day events are happening throughout the month.

Just because Earth Day is April 22 doesn’t mean it is limited to a single day. Events have been organized in honor of Earth Day throughout the area so people have various opportunities to help Mother Earth if they wish.

To celebrate Earth Day and raise needed funds, Muir Ranch is bringing together some notable members of the food community for a Long Table Dinner fundraiser Sunday.

Plant Oaks in Hahamongna for Earth Day

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. attendees will plant oaks to help restore the oak canopy. Meet in the lower parking lot and bring gloves and water. Lunch will be provided.

Earth Day Poetry Hike
April 21
