Free Landscaping Workshop from Christmas Tree Lane Association
Bring your favorite gloves to the November class.
Christmas Tree Lane residents and the rest of the community can hone their landscaping skills, thanks to a free workshop from the Christmas Tree Lane Association.
The workshop will be held Nov. 17 from 2-5 p.m. at 2077 Santa Rosa Avenue and include the following:
- How-to classes
- Low-water use planting
- Irrigation demonstrations
- Replacing water-thirsty lawns and plants
The workshop will feature instructor Andreas Hessing of Scrubjay Studios, who has been designing purely native landscapes for more than 20 years and teaches native design courses at the Theodore Payne Foundation, according to his Scrubjay Studios bio.
