Geek Out at JPL Open House

Get an inside look at the accomplishments of JPL at their annual open house, this weekend. All ages are welcome.

The annual Jet Propulsion Laboratory Open House is happening this weekend, May 14 and 15, at the JPL headquarters in Pasadena.

Fulfill your curiosity, get a taste of what it’s like to work at JPL and see the California Institute of Technology JPL center all for free. This event only happens one weekend a year, so take advantage of the special access.

Many JPL scientists and engineers will be on hand to answer questions that the general public has about space, spacecraft and technology.

The event will also celebrate the many accomplishments that JPL has achieved through the years. There will be an array of exhibits, demonstrations, and information about current research and space exploration.

Best of all, the kids are welcome, so make it a family event! Little astronauts-to-be will have the chance to participate in hands-on special activities, designed just for them.

Your entry on NASA/JPL property constitutes your agreement that you, your vehicles and your personal belongings are subject to inspection. 

The event as well as parking are free. Parking is available near the Oak Grove main gate, on the eastern edge of JPL.
