Kids Celebration Taking Place for Altadena 125th Birthday

The celebration is separate from the evening festivities that are more geared toward adults.

In an effort to offer kids a chance to celebrate Altadena’s 125th birthday, resident Melody Comfort has organized a celebration for kids on Saturday.

Comfort shared the following announcement on Patch:

A FREE celebration to allow kids to celebrate Altadena's 125th birthday will be held at the Farnsworth Park Mount Curve Pavilion this Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m..  Bring your kids to sign a birthday banner, get a helium balloon, and join in some fun Altadena-related activities.

The celebration will precede Altadena's 125th Birthday, a separate event organized by Michele Zack of Altadena Heritage and others that is geared more toward adults and will happen at the Davies Building at Farnsworth Park from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. It will include food, live music, a costume contest, displays from different Altadena organizations and more.
