Portion of Rosemead Blvd. at 210 Freeway Underpass to be Shut Down Thursday

The closure of the northbound lanes will be in effect from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7.

The three left lanes of northbound Rosemead Boulevard at the 210 Freeway underpass will be shut down for a four-hour period Thursday while construction crew survey the underpass between Foothill and Colorado boulevards, as part of the 11.5 mile Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension light rail project.

The work will take place on Thursday, Feb. 7 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., weather permitting. The three left lanes will be reopened at 2 p.m., and the onramp to eastbound I-210 will remain open during this period.

  • The three left lanes along northbound Rosemead Blvd will be closed to thru-traffic during this work.
  • The right lane on northbound Rosemead Blvd will remain open for access to the eastbound I-210 freeway on-ramp only.
  • Detour signs will be posted to direct vehicular traffic and bicyclists during the closure. Sidewalk access for pedestrians will remain open during this work.
  • Local access to residences and businesses will be maintained through detour route
