Concert at Farnsworth: Hot Licks on a Cool Night
Guitarist Brian Hughes and his band ushered out August with some seriously tasty jazz.
Altadena resident Brian Hughes, who performs at jazz festivals from Chile to Edinburgh, played to a hometown crowd at Farnsworth Park on Saturday night.
It was the next to the last event in this year's Summer Concert Series, presented by the Sheriff's Support Group of Altadena and LA County Parks and Recreation. Guess this means summer's almost over.
Final concert in the summer series will be September 8th, and feature the Walking Phoenixes in a tribute to Johnny Cash.
