The Arroyos & Foothills Conservancy Surpasses Fundraising Goal

Donations will help preserve 13 acres in Millard Canyon

The Arroyos & Foothills Conservancy met a $10,000 challenge pledge – and then some. According to director John Howell, 102 donors came through with more than $16,000 – and the additional $6,000 will receive matching funds as well.

This money will help purchase and preserve a 13-acre parcel in Millard Canyon. The land is a valuable wildlife corridor, according to a biological survey done by the conservancy
