  • The school district and Town Council will hold a joint meeting on the first Tuesday in April.
  • Al Evans of the County Parks and Recreation Department plugged a free movie night that has recently been started for the third Friday of each month at Farnsworth Park.  Right now the movie is being screened indoors, but will be moved outdoors in the coming months.  In summer, Evans said the department hopes to add food trucks to the event, and possibly even other recreational opportunities like a climbing wall.
  • The volunteer in charge of running Town Council elections in June, Eric Pierce, is looking for volunteers from the public.  He can be reached at atcelection@yahoo.com.  Sund suggested that those in town who have accused Town Council members of rigging past elections might want to consider volunteering to ensure the validity of the process.
