Two Gardening Classes (At Least!) in Altadena this Fall

Become a certified Victory Gardener, or show the backyard tomatoes who's the boss.

First up

  • Tomatoes -- Growing, Preserving, Enjoying. Taught by Kazi Pitelka
  • Sponsored by Altadena Heritage
  • Seminar takes place at the Zane Grey Estate on Mariposa, September 9th, from 1-3 p.m.
  • Admission is $10 for the general public, $5 for Altadena Heritage members

  • Learn How to Grow Your Own Vegetables and Become a UC Certified Victory Gardener
  • Part of the UC Extension Master Gardener Program
  • Class dates: Sept 16, 22, 29, October 6, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Sign up for one class ($15) or the whole series ($55).
  • All classes will be at the Altadena Community Garden, Palm/Lincoln
