Altadena Heat: Triple Digit Temps Forecast

October is here but you wouldn’t know it by the weather forecast.

Monday is forecast to have a high of 105 degrees in Altadena, while Tuesday is expected to top out at 101 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

A fire weather watch has also been issued for Monday and Tuesday.

A “cooling” trend will occur the rest of the week, but it will still be toasty.

• Tuesday Night Clear, with a low around 67. South southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southeast in the evening.
• Wednesday Sunny, with a high near 93. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south southwest in the morning.
• Wednesday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 64.
• Thursday Sunny, with a high near 90.
