Rain, Winds Could Continue Through Tuesday

After a week that ended in a small heat wave, the weather cooled down significantly Sunday and brought rain for Monday and possibly Tuesday.

“Showers and winds should taper off on Tuesday...but could
linger in the mountains,” the National Weather Service noted.

Altadena’s seven-day forecast, according to the National Weather Service:

• Monday Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 11am. High near 62. South wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.
• Monday Night A chance of showers, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 54. South wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
• Tuesday A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 64. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south in the afternoon.
• Tuesday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 52. South southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable in the evening.
• Wednesday Mostly sunny, with a high near 69. Light south southeast wind becoming southwest 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.
• Wednesday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 54.
• Thursday Patchy fog before 11am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 74.
• Thursday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 59.
• Friday Mostly sunny, with a high near 78.
• Friday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 62.
• Saturday Sunny, with a high near 81.
