Winter Weather Advisory Issued

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Los Angeles County Mountains through tonight.

Snow showers and gusty winds will continue through tonight. A slight chance of thunderstorms are expected through early this evening. Snow levels are expected between 3,500 and 4,500 feet. As a result, Interstate 5 near the Grapevine could be impacted by snow showers along with gusty winds.

Snow accumulations of two to five inches are expected above 4500 feet with lighter accumulations down to 3500 feet possible.

Snow levels 3,500 and 4,500 feet are expected this afternoon and this evening.
