"Put The Fork In Hunger" Toy Drive

“PUT THE FORK IN HUNGER” Toy Drive–Pasadena’s largest toy drive!

To benefit Union Station Homeless Services, Five Acres and AIDS Service Center

WHAT: “Put The Fork In Hunger” toy drive is combining the resources of the top three charities in Pasadena to make this the largest toy drive in the history of Pasadena.

As a collaborative effort, the local nonprofits are working to bring smiles and toys to all the vulnerable children in the area who would not otherwise enjoy Christmas morning.

WHEN: Saturday and Sunday, December 10th and 11th 2011, 8 a.m.– 4 p.m. RAIN or SHINE

WHERE: At the “Fork Plaza." 200 Bellefontaine located just South of Huntington Hospital in Pasadena.

WHY: To benefit Union Station Homeless Services: http://www.unionstationfoundation.org/, Five Acres: http://www.5acres.org/ and AIDS Service Center http://www.aidsservicecenter.org/

How: The public is invited to drive by slowly and drop off unwrapped toys ($10.00 value or more) to festively dressed volunteerselves. The greatest need is gifts for children and teens ages 5 through 17 years old.
