Farmers to Demonstrate Skills at Altadena Farmers' Market Wednesday

Different farmers' market vendors will share recipes, gardening techniques and more July 10.

The Altadena Farmers’ Market hosts several farmers each week, including Altadena growers, and on Wednesday some of those vendors will share some of their knowledge and creations at different demonstrations.

The demonstrations are part of the market’s Summer Nights series and will take place on the lawn.

4:30 - 4:50 / Ja Sakrungrueng, Moua Farms - Cooking Asian Greens: Ongchoy and Yuchoy

5:00 - 5:20 / Scott Henley, Whisper Farms - Aquaponic Gardening 

5:30 - 5:50 / Kristy Baltezore, Rice & Beans - Cold Barley Salad

6:00 - 6:20 / Rishi Kumar, The Growing Home - Fresh Herb Tea and Summer Herb Drying

The Altadena Farmers' Market is held Wednesdays at Loma Alta Park (Dabney Ave and W. Palm St). Summer hours are 4-8 p.m.
