Danny's Farm Will Join Food Truck Friday Event

The one-time Altadena petting zoo will be bringing its mobile animal carrier to Fancy Food Truck Fridays from 5 to 7 p.m.

Altadena's monthly food truck event had a double dose of good news Wednesday: , and secondly, Danny's Farm, the one-time Altadena petting zoo will begin making appearances at the event starting this Friday.

Meredith Miller, co-organizer of the event, wrote Altadena Patch to note that Danny's Farm will be there from 5 to 7 p.m. this Friday, and will likely be there for future events.

The petting zoo, which caters to autistic children, was removed in January from the property of its founders, Altadena residents Cathy and Jim Gott, after the zoo had permit troubles of its own.  A scaled-down version of the original facility is now located in South Pasadena, but the Gotts have also brought in a mobile carrier to allow the animals to travel to events around the area.
