Filming Nonprofit Announces $4,000 in Donations

The Altadena Community Chest nonprofit was founded to bring donations from film companies and residents who rent out their homes for filming to local nonprofits.

An Altadena nonprofit that solicits donations from film companies and homeowners who rent out their homes for filming announced it distributed $4,000 in donations to local nonprofits.

Altadena Community Chest, which we , gave $500 each to the following organizations, according to Russ Fega, the group's director:

  • Altadena Library
  • Altadena Heritage
  • Altadena Historical Society
  • Altadena Sheriff's Station Fund
  • Altadena Elementary School
  • Young & HealthyFive Acres
  • Arroyos & Foothills Conservancy
