Petition Started to Improve Ralph's

As discussed many times here on the site, many Altadena residents want to see improvements from the local Ralph's grocery store. One resident has started a petition drive to try to make that happen.

A petition drive to improve the grocery store on Lake Avenue has been started by an Altadena resident.

Ericka Lozano-Buhl is circulating the petition via online efforts, and has cited the lack of a deli counter, meat department and coffee bar, as well as poor produce options, as the things that need improving at the store.

The petition can be viewed at right or at the following link.

Improving Ralph's has been a frequent source of discussion on Altadena Patch.  Check out the following links if you have not been following along:

Ed Meyers, of the the Altadena Chamber of Commerce, who blogs on Altadena Patch, has also had conversations with both the local store manager and representatives of the national chain about improving the store.  Ed that the director of the store often hears request for improvements.

Lozano-Buhl noted on the site that as of yesterday she has 81 signatures on the petition.

Ralphs should have a office for the local communist party as well! A party leader should be in place to make sure they don't make any profit. What else should we demand of Ralphs?

I don't care what they do to the store as long as they keep the same employees. I think Cris and Theresa 2 of the managers are the nicest people one could ever meet I am a regular there and if there is something I can't find or they don't carry it they make sure I get it!

there 50 percent of meat sales , are misleading . believe they raise the price , then even at 50 % off still cost more than other stores .
