Pizza of Venice Restaurant Soft Opens in Altadena Saturday
The locally-sourced pizza maker has been selling its pies at the Altadena Farmers' Market since May.
Another eatery is about to open in Altadena and those who frequent the Altadena Farmers’ Market may have already tried the new restaurant’s food.
Pizza of Venice, which has been serving hot and frozen take-home pizzas at the Altadena Farmers’ Market since May, will soon open a brick and mortar location for its homemade pizzas that include toppings like meatballs and ceviche.
The restaurant announced on its facebook page Tuesday:

Pizza of Venice touts its pizza as having no preservatives, no additives, handmade dough and locally sourced ingredients, including toppings sourced from farmers’ markets and sauce made from organic California tomatoes.
