Reported Armed Robbery at Area Pizza Hut
Money allegedly taken in late night crime, authorities still on scene investigating.
A Pizza Hut was reportedly robbed Saturday night when a man allegedly used a hand gun during the incident to steal cash from the restaurant.
The crime was reported at 10:16 p.m. at the , 2211 North Lake Avenue, according to Shawn Cliver of the Altadena Sheriff's Station. Approximately $60 in cash was taken during the robbery.
Cliver could provide no further description other than the alleged robber was a Black male, but scanner reports by deputies added that the suspect may have been wearing black sunglasses, had a Playboy tattoo on the side of his neck and the type of gun used may have been a black, small-caliber hand gun.
The suspect left on foot on Lake Avenue, Cliver said.
