Nominate the Best Bar in the San Gabriel Valley

Let us know the best bar in and around the region so we can put it to a vote and find out which is the Readers’ Choice 2012 winner.

Where is the best place to get a drink in the San Gabriel Valley?

Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and anyone else who knows about the San Gabriel Valley to nominate the best spots in or near your Patch town. You can pick a business you love from anywhere near your home, from Altadena to Glendora, from La Cañada Flintridge to Diamond Bar. This includes Pasadena as well.

We’ll keep accepting nominations through July 9. After that, nominations will be closed, and we’ll start the voting, so make sure to get in your favorites now.

It’s easy: Just nominate your favorite businesses in the comments below!*

*Because this is a contest, you’ll need to create a Patch login to nominate and vote!

NOMINATIONS CLOSE JULY 9!

Don’t forget to tell your friends on Facebook, Twitter and email! If you own a business, encourage your customers or friends to nominate you!

All you need to do to nominate a business is to add it in the comments below. If you already see the business you want to nominate, make sure to add your comment about why it should be included, because we may not be able to add all businesses to our poll and we want to make sure the top ones make it into the poll.

Thanks for your participation.

PS: Sign up for the Patch Newsletter to find out when voting starts so you can support your favorite institution in the Readers' Choice contest.

Avignone's in downtown Montrose. This is what a neighborhood bar should aspire to be. Great pours and dark inside. Nice people on both sides of the bar.

Definitely Lucky Baldwin's in Pasadena or Sierra Madre. Beer done right, Irish pub done right. Cozy, comfortable, with a real selection of beer. Their beer festivals and revolving tap list that is impossibly large has made it the go to place for people who appreciate beer tasting.

This is a tough category. I am going with T Philips in Monrovia since the category is bar and you gotta love the dozens of beers on tap and the atmosphere (and best real Buffalo style wings anywhere)!.
