Share Your Sept. 11 Stories With Patch

If you have memories of that fateful day, Patch is asking you to share them with others.

Where were you when the towers fell?

Most Americans can conjure up an immediate image of sitting on their bed at home, watching the TV at a friend's place, or getting a phone call from someone saying "You need to turn on the TV right now" -- or perhaps even thinking, "We're under attack."

Whatever the case, it's a day that's been immortalized in American lore and etched into the minds of Americans and citizens of the world.

Perhaps you know someone who lost their life that day. Perhaps you were in New York City, or tried to call someone you knew there. Maybe you know someone who signed up for the military the first chance you got.
