Alison Arngrim: Protecting Children Is Holy Work

Join the Altadena Community Church adult class to hear actress Alison Arngrim.  Best known as the terrible Nellie Oleson on the hit TV series "Little House on the Prairie," Arngrim has written a best-selling memoir.  She will share her personal story of abuse and survival and speak as an expert on educating the public and identifying and preventing the sexual abuse and exploitation of children.  Arngrim has helped change legislation in several states, including California, so that perpetrators are not exempted from harsh penalties if they are related to their victims. She is a spokesperson for the National Assn. to Protect Children (www.protect.org) and H.E.R.O. Corps, which employs injured veterans to help law enforcement track online sexual predators.
