BLACK HISTORY MONTH ART EXHIBITION AT ALTADENA COMMUNITY ARTS CENTER

The Altadena Community Art Center's "Black History Month Exhibition" features an outstanding collection of African sculpture, including a selection on loan from WAJ Collectibles, as well as the works of reknown contemporary American artists Michael Massenburg, Cedric Adams, Ben Sakoguchi, Timothy Washington, and Richard Wyatt, Jr.  


A special feature of the Community Arts Center's celebration of Black History Month are a series of symposia on "The Art of Creating Art", featuring talks by exhibiting artists. Upcoming on Friday, February 15, 7 PM will be fine artist/muralist, Michael Massenburg, followed by Richard Wyatt, Jr., also a fine artist/muralist, on Friday, February 22. The public is invited.
