MonteCedro Demystifies Computers and Tech Gadgets with Author Abby Stokes

Have you ever wanted to know how to create an email account, share pictures with  your family via Shutterfly.com, or check the local movie times and listings on Fandango.com?

On January 24, 2013, MonteCedro, a new planned Episcopal Communities & Services (ECS) Continuing Care Retirement Community in Altadena, will host Abby Stokes, author of “Is This Thing On?” and instructor at Cooper Union and New York University’s  School of Lifelong Learning. Stokes has helped almost 190,000 people understand and navigate the latest technology and tools including the Internet, computers, tablets, “smart” phones, email and picture sharing.

Stokes will conduct two seminars to educate San Gabriel Valley area seniors about the differences between the various innovations and gadgets. She will also help attendees identify which devices, “apps” and social networking tools would be appropriate for them.

Space is limited for these events. To register, please visit www.montecedro.org/info or call 877-282-1584.
