The Foothill Artisan Project is the creation of local chefs, artists, and artisan food makers looking for an outlet into their community. It is based on the “pop-up” farmer’s market food clubs spawning all over, but we are unique in that we have an emphasis on art as well as food. We are about supporting local artisans, artists, craftsmen, and causes. We aim to bring light to our neighbors who need local exposure for what they do. Our vendors are all locals from all walks of life and most are people who want to make their living doing what they are passionate about. We also are looking to educate our public on local concerns and events. We provide local community based non-profits with free space to gain support for the causes that will enrich our lives. We invite you to come to our “club” meeting and support your community’s passions.

But as with any major revamp, after the foreign feel to navigating, usually the new way feels comfortable eventually. I am not sure either way yet.
