Music in the Garden at The Gooden School

Enjoy Music in the Garden at The Gooden School with Chamber Music by The Pasadena Symphony and Pops, Sept. 27

For those who have heard about The Gooden School and would like a closer look, the opportunity is at hand.  Parents throughout the San Gabriel Valley community are invited to enjoy Music in the Garden featuring The Pasadena Symphony and Pops' string quartet and harpist, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, Friday, Sept. 27, on the beautiful campus of The Gooden School, 192 N. Baldwin Avenue, in Sierra Madre.

Open to the public, the free event features music, wine and cheese and provides a special chance for parents to stroll the grounds of Gooden, an independent Episcopal school, K - 8, honoring all faith traditions.  Faculty, staff and parents of Gooden students will be on hand to answer questions and provide information about the school.

"We're delighted to team up with The Pasadena Symphony and Pops for this event, and others in the future," said Patty Patano, Head of School.  "Together, Gooden and The Pasadena Symphony and Pops celebrate music and the arts, education and our community."

Paul Jan Zdunek, CEO of the Pasadena Symphony and Pops noted, "We have seen the power of music throughout history, including Albert Einstein who used his violin to work on challenging formulas.  We believe whole heartedly that music nourishes the mind, body and spirit of an individual and enriches the community, so we are extremely pleased to be partnering with The Gooden School who believes in the same power of the arts."
