The Gamma Zeta Boulé Foundation to Present 7th Annual LAMP Mentor Luncheon June 1st

On Sunday June 1, 2014 The Gamma Zeta Boule Foundation will present the 7th Annual LAMP Mentor Luncheon at The Altadena Town & Country Club, 2290 Country Club Drive Altadena.  The heartwarming affair will start with a reception at 11:30 a.m.

The highly anticipated scholarship luncheon will honor Michael Lawson, Former Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners President with the Leadership Award; The Honorable Judy Chu, Congresswoman 27th District will serve as Keynote Speaker. Eight college-bound 2014 LAMP Graduates will be honored in front of over 250 family and friends.

The GZBF LAMP Mentor Program, is an award-winning ten-month curriculum that specializes in soft-skill training for area prospective college students, with an emphasis on Leadership, Achievement, Management and Professionalism (LAMP). LAMP also hosts a series of “College Information Sessions,” providing the students and parents with an opportunity to learn more about the college admissions process, financial aid and the transition from high school to college. Successful completion of the program allows LAMP students to compete for the scholarship awards.
