20th Anniversary Open House Celebration

ALTADENA LIBRARY DISTRICT BOB LUCAS BRANCH 20th ANNIVERSARY AND OPEN HOUSE CELEBRATION

The Altadena Library District will celebrate the 20th Anniversary and Grand Reopening of the newly renovated Bob Lucas Branch Memorial Library & Literacy Center on Sunday, April 29, 2012 from 1:00 pm to 3:00pm. The recent renovations address Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility and were made possible through a grant from the Pasadena Community Foundation. Over the past twenty years the Bob Lucas Branch has provided numerous library events and programs including the “LET’S READ, ALTADENA!” Literacy Program which works with adults to improve their reading, writing and language skills. The Library Board of Trustees looks forward to welcoming the community to their “new home” and thanking everyone, especially the Pasadena Community Foundation for their continued support.   For information please call 626.818.4663   The celebration will take place at the Bob Lucas Branch, 2659 Lincoln Ave., Altadena, CA.
