Christmas Tree Lane Still Looking For Volunteers For Lights Take-Down

Volunteers are needed to assist the Christmas Tree Lane Association in removing lights from the annual holiday display starting on Feburary 12, and will continue each week until the work is done.

In the morning volunteers will be greeted with donuts, coffee and hot chocolate and after 12:00 lunch will be provided.

Volunteers are asked to contact organizers if they are bringing a group of more than five on any weekend and plan to stay and have lunch.  Please call (626) 403-1123 or e-mail so that there will be enough food for everyone.

The organizers also write:

"We can only move as fast as our tree climbers, so, if you would be willing to climb about one story up a ladder, please tell us when you come and we will show you what to do. (To get an idea of the height, go to any tree on the Lane, look up and see the metal box…that’s about how far up you’d need to go)."
