The Arroyos & Foothills Conservancy is hosting a docent-led hike and celebration about the acquisition of 41 acres in Rubio Canyon that will be preserved for local residents to enjoy.
The new property will help complete the Altadena Crest Trail and will open up the area to hikers.
For those who want to learn about the area in a docent-led hike, please show up at 1:30 p.m. Please wear hiking boots, long pants, and leave your dogs at home.
