VIDEO: Take a Walkabout at Hahamonga Watershed Park

The event offers participants an opportunity to take a guided tour featuring learning stations.

The third annual Hahamonga Walkabout took place Saturday at Hahamonga Watershed Park, and this year's theme was "Discover Nature with Recreation."

The "walkabout" offered participants an opportunity to take a guided tour of the park that featured learning stations with information about several of the recreation groups that use the park regularly. Stops on the tour included information about the Rose Bowl Riders, an equestrian group that regularly uses the park, the Tom Sawyer Camp, a summer day camp, and the Oak Grove Disc Golf Club.

See the attached video of Scott David Cher, watershed coordinator with the Arroyo Seco Foundation, talking about the event. According to Cher, over 100 people took the tour throughout the day, with "walkabouts" being offered every half hour.
