Town Council Preview: Wal-Mart, Seating New Members

The main items at Tuesday's meeting will be a presentation by Wal-Mart and the seating of new members who were elected in June. The Town Council will also make appointments for leadership positions for the next year.

The biggest items on the agenda at Tuesday's Altadena Town Council meeting are a presentation by representatives of Wal-Mart and the seating of new Town Council members who were elected in June.

The Wal-Mart presentation is not an action item, meaning there is no motion that the Town Council is scheduled to vote on.  That item is early in the agenda, first after routine public safety reports.

Following the Wal-Mart report, the Town Council will seat new members elected in June.  Incoming members to the Council are Reggie Wilkins and Bernardean Broadous.  Members of the council who were reelected and will be officially reseated are Judy Matthews, Sandra Thomas and Diane Marcussen.  Two seats will be left vacant as nobody ran to replace Town Council members who were leaving.
