Warning: Walking and Texting May Lead to Bear Collision (Video)

Walk while texting enough and you almost expect you might fall into a sign or a lamp post, or perhaps a fountain, but it is a rare texter who almost walks into the furry paws of a bear.

But as the video above that was taken by KTLA while following a bear around in Montrose this week shows, one resident almost did exactly that. 

For those who have not seen the coverage, the on Tuesday after being spotted several times in Montrose over the last few weeks.  The bear was suspected of breaking into a refrigerator and eating meatballs, and officials were concerned it had started to make a habit of seeking food at people's homes.
