Proceeds to benefit the Summer Activities Fund for the kids of Five Acres

(Pasadena, Calif.) – Five Acres, in collaboration with Fosselman’s Ice Cream Co. and Kings Row Gastropub will host its fourth annual Swanky Summer Cocktails on Wednesday Aug. 15, 6 to 8 p.m. at Kings Row Gastropub in Pasadena. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Summer Activities Fund, providing the children of Five Acres with the transformative experience of alternative summer activities including field trips to museums, amusement parks, and the beach and an alternative summer camp for at-risk children and youth. Tickets can be purchased at www.5acres.org for $20 in advance or $25 at the door and include Fosselman’s signature sorbet martinis and beer floats, appetizers and live music. Kings Row Gastropub is located at 20 E. Colorado Blvd,
Pasadena.

With alternative summer activities, children at Five Acres are able to learn important life skills, such as teamwork, self-confidence and problem solving while exploring their own skills and interests. Five Acres works to promote safety, well-being and permanency for children and their families by building on their strengths and empowering them within communities.
