Altadena Farmer Market Preview: Sauerkraut and Kombucha

Wednesday is the Altadena Farmers Market, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Loma Alta Park.

Wednesday is Altadena Farmers Market day for local residents and this week the market's Facebook page is touting the return of the Brassica & Brine vendor and their sauerkraut and kombucha.

Brassica & Brine describes itself as selling "organic, probiotic, raw, vegan, gluten-free, kosher krauts are sourced from local California farmers."  They have been at previous markets, but are returning this week after an absence, according to the market's Facebook page.

The market runs from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Loma Alta Park - the temperatures should be much more pleasant than the last two days for those interested in shopping for produce, dairy or grabbing a bite to eat.
