Altadena Man Received Life-Threatening Injuries in Shooting

Current status of Pasadena shooting victim is unknown at this hour.

The Altadena resident injured in a shooting in Pasadena early Saturday received multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds, according to authorities.

Authorities arrived to the 800 block of Summit Avenue in Pasadena around 2 a.m. to find the adult male victim with multiple gunshot wounds, according to a Pasadena Police press release. Fire fighters with the Pasadena Fire Department administered aid to the wounded man and transported him to an area hospital.

The victim's current status is unknown, according to Lieutanant Diego Torres.

The suspect shot him after some sort of argument police reported. The suspect was described as a male black in his 20s, according to the press release. No further description was available.
